This is a 1/72 scale military scale diecast model from Hobbymaster of the Eurofighter Typhoon 414, Kuwait Air Force (pseudo scheme)
A European consortium consisting of the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, and Italy constructed the twin-engine, multi-role Eurofighter Typhoon. When four nations are involved, it is essential to have what are known as "tranches," which are contracts that are divided into blocks and batches. The Eurofighter prototype made its first flight on March 27, 1994, marking the beginning of the aircraft's development in 1983. On January 16, 2008, the first fully outfitted Tranche 2 Instrumented Production Aircraft (IPA7) took to the skies.
Kuwait has placed an order for 28 Eurofighters, including 6 two-seaters and 22 single-seaters. The delivery will be finished in 2023, having started in 2020. The first successful flight of Eurofighter 414 was accomplished in December 2019 at the Leonardo Aircraft Division's Flight Test Center in Turin-Caselle. According to the Kuwait contract, this was the first Instrumented Series Production aircraft with the Captor E-Scan Radar with Phase Enhancement, Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod, and other electronic upgrades. With these planes, Kuwait will become the eighth Eurofighter customer.
