An accurate, true-to-scale reproduction of the actual aircraft, the model is great for collectors and features authentic, highly detailed graphics and markings.
Adorned with golden graphics and a very prominent number 50 decorating the front of the fuselage to celebrate the 50th anniversary - golden jubilee - of the United Arab Emirates - this Emirates Boeing 777-300ER not only commemorates and symbolizes the UAE's success, ambition and innovation, it proudly honors the world's connection to Dubai over the past five decades.
Currently the most "ordered and delivered" widebody airliner flying today, even having overtaken the Queen of the Skies, the iconic Boeing 747, the Boeing 777 is a wide-body, twin-engine, long-range airliner that was conceived by Boeing in 1990 not only to bridge the existing gap between its 767 and 747 aircraft, but also to replace the aging DC-10s and L-1011s that were nearing retirement with a modern, more fuel efficient aircraft.
Able to accommodate up to 396 passengers with ten abreast seating in a conventional 2 class configuration, the Boeing 777-300ER (Extended Range version), which went into service in April 2004 with Air France as its launch customer, not only has additional fuel capacity as well as an increased Maximum Takeoff Weight over the standard Boeing 777-300 - for a range of 7,310 nautical miles - it is also more fuel efficient and has lower operating and maintenance costs than some other rival aircraft in its class produced by both Boeing and Airbus, further bolstering its popularity with airlines seeking new aircraft.
SkyMarks offers high density plastic moulded models in a large variety of scales and airlines. Many airlines available as SkyMarks models are not available from any other manufacturer. All models come with a display stand and while most models come with no landing gear to be properly displayed 'in-flight', some come with real rubber tires for added realism.
