This is a 1/48 scale military scale diecast model from Hobbymaster. This model is the Hawker Hurricane IIc “Operation Jubilee” No. 43 Squadron 1942
On August 19, 1942, "Operation Jubilee" was carried out as a raid on Dieppe, France. Hurricanes and Spitfires passed over Dieppe that morning in order to shield the Allied forces and eliminate as many of Germany's local assets as possible. It was not long before the plane began to take flak. Sqn. Ldr. Du Vivier piloted BN320/FT-A, a Hurricane from No. 43 Squadron. BN320 conducted four low-level ground support sorties on this day, taking damage with each one. BN320 was too severely damaged to fly again by the end of the day.
